The principle

When the generation of electricity with a diesel generator set, heat is released as a result of the burning of a fossil fuel. By utilizing the heat for heating water you create a cogeneration.

An example

For example, using the cogeneration to deal with peak energy demand, the existing connection is not overloaded. This allows to work with a lower standing charge. The result is an interesting cost savings.
